On my sons 4th birthday i bought him an 8wk old black/white kitten as our existing cat was/is a grump & he wanted his own to play with, He named him Batman & they are the best of friends, Batman will be 2 this year & my son loves him just as much now as he did when he was a kitten :) Everyone thinks its a daft name & we have gotten some stick but .. It suits him :D
